The Judge From Hell Episode 14 was not the wrapped-up finale I needed. Episode 14 is more of a mind game, forcing us to think about what will happen next, or whether there will be a season 2, since there are still many unresolved issues.
The episode starts with a few clips showing that Bitna survived and was given a chance to live again by God in Heaven. This was something we didn't expect—an Angel from Heaven coming down to Purgatory, or the Justice Place of Justitia. Since this is a fantasy, we must expect the unexpected.
At the same time, with Bitna’s revival, Killer J escapes from prison while attending the funeral wake of his brother, who had taken his own life. With this, another trial involving Kang Bitna is presented—the brutal justice that she administers to Killer J.
After this, Bitna is given a chance to return to Hell as a demon. However, she is granted three years on Earth to do what she wanted to do. Within the two years, she was transferred to a rural place. Also during this time, her romantic relationship with Kang Daon becomes a highlight.
Before the episode ends, Bitna returns to Seoul as a judge, where Gael appears and presents her with Lucifer’s deal. He tells her that if she kills 10 sinners and sends them to Hell, she can live on Earth as a human. If she decided not to kill, she will return to Hell as Justitia and Gael's heir.
With this, Bitna has not yet made a decision, and the episode ends. This leaves the possibility of a continuation in the next season, depending on what Bitna chooses. It was a cliffhanger, but overall, the episode was quite good.
