I cannot believe we are finally witnessing a new Chungha comeback! I feel like it has been ages since the last one again even though this is at least her second under her new company! Well, the concept photos for this comeback already offered us Chungha greatness and I had a feeling she’d be coming to absolutely save my late summer blues with a new banger. Of course I am a bit sad this is just a single but still I will take any new Chungha song. Let’s get into the review.
Algorithm honestly had me convinced and ready to support it the moment I heard the very first musical teaser for it. The finished product? An absolute BANGER! The verses are very Chungha like, a bit more mellow but still catchy, the pre-chorus builds up to a catchy dance floor ready chorus. Chungha just knows she is the club queen and I am so ready to break a hip to this song! The hook is just so catchy even if it could feel a tad too repetitive? I don’t really feel like that but oh well! Algorithm is just so good! I was so excited for this song to come out and I am so glad it delivered what it promised! Algorithm is a bop and a half and I think we would all agree when I say this might very well become one of my songs of the summer.
I love how pink and colorful this entire music video is. Chungha doesn’t miss. Queen!
